dbc Design & Building Compliance provides Building Act and Building Code Compliance assistance and advice New Zealand-wide. With over 15 years of experience in building and compliance, David Curl and his team are ready to assist on any residential or commercial project.
Owner & Founder
David Curl is the owner of dbc Design & Building Compliance founding the company in April 2013. David’s experience includes work within the Tasman District Council, the Nelson City Council, Carters Nelson and the Laminex Group. His associations include a position as the Former Secretary Building Officials Institute of New Zealand Nelson Marlborough Branch. David runs dbc Design & Building Compliance in company with Trudy, his head of Operations and Office Management.
David was a Licensed Building Practitioner for Design 2 Category and Fire Safety Systems which means peace of mind for you. He has also successfully achieved Diplomas in Building Control Surveying Small and Medium and Large Buildings. He provides expertise from both sides of the divide.
What to Expect
Since 2013, dbc Design & Building Compliance has offered professional insight into Building and Compliance codes. David has been directly involved with over 1,000 building projects. In the time he has been operating, David has proven his worth and formed an ongoing relationship with eight high valued clients.
